Funding mandates stipulate the use of treasury fund to further the Perion mission. They are designed to be broad in scope, finding balance between efficiency and guardrails.
Voting on funding mandates fall under 1 category, whereby proposals require a global consensus or 2 stage vote. In future it may be determined that where a proposal requires less funding than a certain threshold of treasury funds, it will only require a single stage vote.
DAO modification stipulate updates to the technical architecture of the DAO, as well as parameter changes within the DAOs governance architecture.
As DAO modifications have far reaching ramifications all votes for modifications require a 2 stage, global consensus vote.
